Part of the Happiness work is de-cluttering.
I found this in my files and am typing it out before I throw it in the bin.
The Haiku of Zen Windows
Your file was big
It might be very useful
But now it is gone.
The Web site you seek
Cannot be located, but
Countless more exist.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
Program aborting:
Close all that you have worked on.
You ask far too much.
Windows NT crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
No one hears your screams.
Yesterday it worked.
Today it is not working.
Windows is like that.
First snow, then silence.
This thousand dollar screen dies
So beautifully.
With searching comes loss
And the presence of absence:
"My Novel" not found.
The Tao that is seen
Is not the true Tao - until
You bring fresh toner.
Stay the patient course.
Of little worth is your ire.
The network is down.
A crash reduces
Your expensive computer
To a simple stone.
Three things are certain:
Death, taxes and lost data.
Guess which has occured.
You step in the stream,
But the water has moved on.
This page is not here.
Out of memory.
We wish to hold the whole sky,
But we never will.
Having been erased,
The document you're seeking
Must now be retyped.
Serious error.
All shortcuts have disappeared.
Screen. Mind. Both are blank.
Happiness Diet - My thoughts
My personal journey with the Happiness diet from the Happiness Institute. Note: I don't get paid for this - actually, I paid them. These thoughts are my own. Also - for those of you who find this blog without knowing me: I'm not a psychologist, and I don't have qualifications. I'm just a person finding their way through life the best way I know how.

I'm not stopping with this... promise!
Working nights, and sleeping days is not conducive to updating blogs. The End of May is the end of the Work project and hopefully I will get a break at that point.
Until then - Keep on keeping on. :)

Update
This week has been about grieving. One year on my mum's death was stored as a body memory, and I was in tears before I knew what day it was. Making sense of what my body already knows relieves the stress, but not that mum is gone.
Tonight, I'm catching a plane to Ireland for 3 weeks (for work). It's already late by 2 1/2 hours. 2am flight.
My girls know there's something wrong, and they look at me uncertainly... until I fed them - then all's right with their world. I'm going to miss them terribly.
Good thing I've put pictures of them on my laptop.

When you're down...
You might as well lay flooring.
So OK. Depression is my middle name at the moment. But I wanted to have something that said "I have done something useful" in the last week. So I've laid flooring. I've even cut tiles to fit into the corners.
Kitchen has gone from cement floors with some paint on it... to self-adhesive vinyl tiles.
Except that I'm about 10 tiles short.
Pictures to follow after another trip to Bunnings.

The day before Valentine's day
5 days of headaches and extra sleeping. Tomorrow going to see my Diabetic Nurse and will find out if this is normal.
I had a fairly good week 2 weeks ago, but this week and last week is about watching all my spoons trickle away. And feeling down.
Not sure why that is, actually.
